Job interview tips: Know yourself

Job seekers sometimes notice they surprisingly don’t know themselves very well. The problem shows itself when you’re speaking with a recruiter explaining your abilities or weaknesses. During an interview, you must consider yourself as a product you want to sell. To do that effectively, you must know your skills well enough. Make a list of your abilities according to your resume. Every work you have done before needs certain skills. Baby-sitting requires psychological sensitivity while selling an oven to a baker needs skills of persuasion. Discover both your current and potential powers and prepare for expressing them at the interview. Hiring managers won’t be able to find your capability if you haven’t found it before.
