How to refresh at work

There are certain moments at work when you feel sleepy, bored or unmotivated. Long working hours, not having enough sleep, not loving your workplace and personal problems and concerns can lead to these feelings. How we should deal with these situations? here is some advice:

Speak up

Talk to a friend. A pleasant conversation with someone whom you love can always help to bring you back where you should be. Speak about your lack of motivation and ask them to guide you if they can.

Drink water

Throughout your day at work, drink water constantly. Water helps to maintain the balance of body fluids, helps energize muscles and reduces stress. Digestion, absorption and circulation can also be improved with drinking water.


Meditation reduces prejudice, improves cognition and counteract depression and burnout. When you feel exhausted, a short time meditation will curb emotional reactions and can keep you more calmly throughout your day.

Take a power nap

A power nap takes between 10 to 15 minutes during a hectic afternoon. Some people may think that it’s inappropriate to slack off at work but sometimes it may clear your head and refresh your body.
