Critical thinking at work

Employers are increasingly interested in hiring critical thinkers. In job interviews and on your resume, you must reflect clearly that you possess this quality. But what is critical thinking exactly? It refers to the ability to analyze statistics and information and use them in order to make reasonable results. Critical thinking is not just about raw numbers or data. It is also getting them at the service to find solutions.

To show that you are a critical thinker you must mention some keywords such as creativity, problem-solving, analysis, etc in your resume and the interview. Hiring managers sometimes confront you with an imaginary problem and ask you to react. In such cases, they barely care about what is your final recommendation. They are curious how you have contributed to that. Here is where you have to prove you can analyze useless information to find useful and practical answers.
